Description

Brugmansia suaveolens (angel trumpet or angel's trumpet) an evergreen semi-woody shrub or small tree that grows to 8-10 ft. (2.4-3 m) tall by 6-8 ft. (1.8-2.4 m) wide. It is native to Cental and South America. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant in tropical and subtropical gardens throughout the world. The blue-green leaves are Ovate to oblong, about 25 cm (10 in) long by 15 cm (6 in) wide. The flowers are pink, white, yellow, orange, trumpet-shaped, 24–32 cm (9–13 in) long. The preference is full sun, and organically rich, medium moisture, well-drained soils.
