Description

Pyracantha angustifolia (Narrow leaf firethorn) is a species of flowering plant in the rose family. It is native to China. It is an evergreen shrubs or small trees growing to 13 feet tall. The leaves are dark green, narrow, 0.6-2 in. (1.5-5 cm) long and 4-8 mm wide. The flower are white, about 2.5 mm in diameter. It blooms in May to June, and the seeds ripen from October to December. It prefers in sun full to part shade, dry to medium, well-drained soil.
